Your advertisers ask one question at renewal: did it work? Spot-level attribution answers it with their own data.
Quality Analytics measures what each radio and TV airing did for the advertiser who bought it: the incremental website visits, calls and sales that followed the spot. Stations and station groups use it to show advertisers what their schedule delivered, in numbers the advertiser can check against its own analytics.
Proof your advertisers can check
Every spot airs at a known minute in a known market. We line that up with the advertiser's own website traffic, calls or orders, minute by minute, and measure the lift against what would have happened anyway. The result is the incremental response for each spot and its cost per response.
Because the response comes from the advertiser's own Google Analytics 4 property, nobody has to take the station's word for it, or ours.
What stations and station groups use it for
- Renewal and upsell conversations backed by the advertiser's own numbers rather than audience estimates.
- Daypart and creative recommendations for each advertiser: which rotations, reads and spot lengths produced response.
- Cost per response instead of CPM. Radio and TV are compared on what they delivered, not on estimated impressions.
- Local proof. Each market is measured against that market's traffic only, so a local schedule gets a local answer.
- Live reads and endorsements measured like any other spot, as long as the time of the read is logged.
How it works for a station
- The advertiser grants read-only access to its Google Analytics 4 property. There is no pixel and nothing to install, and the advertiser can remove the access at any time.
- You supply the logs. Export the as-run logs from your traffic system and upload them, or send them as they are and our team handles the postlog processing with the full-service add-on.
- The first report follows the next business day. After that, results update as each week's logs arrive.
- Share the results. Reports break out response by station, daypart, day of week, creative and market.
Call data from the advertiser's call-tracking provider can be added as its own measure, for advertisers whose customers pick up the phone.
The report shows what did not work, too
Attribution is not a sales sheet. It shows the dayparts and creatives that produced little response alongside the ones that produced a lot. That is what makes it credible, and it is what gives an advertiser a reason to move budget toward the parts of a schedule that work rather than away from the medium.
All results are modeled estimates intended for comparative, directional analysis. They are not guarantees of performance.
What can be measured
- Local broadcast radio, market by market
- National, network and satellite radio
- Live reads and host endorsements
- Broadcast, cable and satellite television, national and local
Podcasts and on-demand audio cannot be measured this way, because every listener hears the ad at a different moment. More in our radio attribution guide and the full list of media covered.
Pricing for station groups
Pricing is per advertiser and per month, from $399, month-to-month, with discounts for multiple licenses. If you would rather not handle logs yourself, the full-service add-on is a flat $299 a month per advertiser.
Getting started
Quality Analytics has measured linear TV and radio response since 2014. Pick one advertiser and one recent schedule: with read-only GA4 access and the logs, setup takes the same day and the first report follows the next business day.
